At The Polished Paper, our entire process is accomplished online for added convenience and expediency. Here's how it works:
1. Submit the Getting Started Form and email your document to polisher@thepolishedpaper.com.
2. We will send you an official quote with details about your order and payment instructions.
3. Make payment via PayPal using a credit or debit card of your choice.
4. You will receive a confirmation of payment email from The Polished Paper.
5. We will email your edited document along with an editorial summary detailing our work.

With this service, you can expect the following:

This level of service provides a punctuation, spelling and grammatical review to spiff up your work at a price that won't break your bank.
With this service, you can expect the following:
- Punctuation Check: Proofing for common punctuation mistakes (e.g. use of semi-colon instead of colon), and ensure correct punctuation is used throughout the paper.
- Grammatical Check: Replace inappropriate words, reduce wordiness, and proofing to ensure proper use of the English language.
- Spell Check: Eliminate common spelling errors that automated spell checks do not pick up (e.g. their/there, are/our).

- Fifteen-minute conference call with a Polisher to discuss your paper's needs, challenges, audience, and your vision.
- Detailed critique including suggestions on how to reorganize content to improve flow, formatting and structure.
- Recommendations on where to add context and more detail, and where to pull back and summarize concisely.
- Comprehensive editorial guidance on ways to enhance and strengthen your communication.
- Review of source material, as needed, to identify what's missing.
In-Depth Editing

This level of service provides a detailed review of your paper's flow, tone, style and content organization, in addition to providing High-Level Proofing.

This level of service provides a detailed review of your paper's flow, tone, style and content organization, in addition to providing High-Level Proofing.
With this service, you can expect a thorough punctuation, spelling and grammatical review that comes with our High-Level Proofing service, plus the following:
- Eliminate redundancies.
- Fix problem sentences, including poor sentence constructions.
- Strengthen semantics by improving word choice.
- Tighten language to increase impact and punch.
- Improve overall clarity and content organization.
- Rearrange sentences and paragraphs as needed.
